ARTIST STATEMENT: |
- |
|
The work centres on a cross pollination with the leadership of
the author combined with the role of the librarian acting as
guidance. I take an antiquarian role achieving a vernacular that
pursues a slippage within knowledge and how it is cultivated.
The work positions within a power struggle that co exists
between varying symbolic relations. These ideas are virulent in
there nature pursuing a topography built upon its ideological
intent, how it is groomed, manipulated and its eventual status
re examined. |
