ARTIST STATEMENT: |
- |
Using the ready-made slightly modified to facilitate contact
with a lucid irrepressible form/movement. Unconfined onto or
through the object in a poetic action. The uncontrollable act
allows the object to fill its parameters, gradually gaining
pulse, making sound what usually exists mute. Each piece
transforms from object to sculpture to instillation.
Examining nostalgia and the admirable from art archive and the
accessible object. From painting, the ready made, the domestic,
window display, monumental architecture. And there significance,
advocated through levels of presentation.
The accumulating of visual references, aid in creating
humanistic, enjoyably beautiful art. The enigmatic absence of
the artist in the action undermines the dogmatic act that
transforms the object. The idea brought into conversation
short-circuited by form.
